Story

I grew up in Noumea and studied at Blouise Pascal High School. I chose IES Foundation Year because everyone is an international student – we all came from different backgrounds and that was important to me.  Studying in a second language is hard, especially in a new country, but IES Foundation Year helped me discover the skills I need to prepare for university.

I also enjoyed studying at an international college, because I got to mix with students from different places and learn about their culture. The staff are the best you can get in Australia, there were really helpful and friendly. And every week, you can try a new activity – we played sports, went to theme parks, scuba diving, horse riding! Most of them are cheap and it’s a great way to meet other students.

I am looking forward to studying at The University of Queensland, and I know I will be ready when I get there next year.
